Roster Group Duties for Come and Try Sessions

For the successful running of the Come and Try public sessions the following duties must be carried out prior to, during and after each public come and try session.
Every Come and Try volunteer will be actively engaged with the following tasks to ensure we meet and exceed our customers expectations.
The outdoor range, indoor range, clubhouse, toilets and public spaces are to be appropriately maintained at all times.

 Arrive by 8:45am to set up all equipment, street based signage, ground quiver cones, maintain target faces,target butt placement, 
foot traffic management, reception table, drinks trolley and chocolates, club house cleanliness and anything else that is required.

Covid-19 stage 3 opening and operational requirements.
Sanitize all come n try equipment before putting away.
Clean all surfaces where the public have had contact.
Clean toilet areas after each days use.
Follow minimum contact practices when handing out equipment.
Try to keep a reasonable distance when coaching on shooting line.

Assign DOS for the day from the members rostered.

One member should always be present at the club house to sign in visitors and give out equipment until such time as the traffic flow from 
participants entering the range has ceased or they are required to support the volunteers on the shooting line.

There must be an active Come and Try volunteer on the shooting line, managing range safety at all times,all 
Come and Try volunteers will be engaged in providing instruction or supporting each other during their shift.

At the end of each come and try session all rostered volunteers are required to pack up all sport equipment, close down range targets, 
replace ground quiver cones into storage, remove street based signage, replace reception table, store drinks trolley and 
ensure that all administration information, assets, monies and operational equipment are secured appropriately.

All money collected for the day are to be given to the Treasurer or his/her representative.

 Eight target butts are to be situated on the 10M line (unless directed otherwise)

ALL DAMAGED ARROWS ARE TO BE REPAIRED, replace broken nocks and missing/damaged fletchings.
 Arrows with more significant damage, such as shaft damage, will be left aside in the armoury and assessed by DOS on the day.
